Tourism is about the movement of people. Tourists are the outsiders who travel away from their usual environment. They are from different countries, culture, tradition and interest. Therefore, every tourist brings his own culture with him/her and there is a meeting of more than two cultures in tourism. Since, tourism is the hospitality or service industry, we are expected to behave as per the liking, interest and style of the tourists.
Culture is tourism's main attraction. Without culture, every place would be seen ironically the same. Without different cultural heritage, the places around the world would have little to offer that could attract the purposes of tourism.
The cultures of different countries can vary greatly to attract people from a particular country, which is important to know cultural differences.

Choices of food and eating pattern differ as per nationality. For e.g. we use our hands for eating, some use spoon, forks, chopsticks etc. Indians and Japanese prefer to have their own food, Americans and Europeans want diversion in their meals.
Traveling pattern is also different as per the nationality. Indians with man made beauty/artificial environment like zoo, parks, gardens, casino, etc. Americans and Europeans enjoy mountains and natural beauty however, British and German crave for knowing everything in details.
